Players Choice TZ w DE is a superior engineered soil blend for all vegetated areas. DE is made from naturally occurring diatomaceous earth. This blend increases air and water capacities, reduces compaction, firms up soggy soils, retains moisture for plants, provides better drainage, increases infiltration rates, and aids in nutrient transfer to plants, resulting in improved root growth.

Green Choice Base Soil ™ 5.5 is a premium 50/50 blend of screened sandy loam with 50% of blend being a good quality sand and 50% silts and clays. This is our standard base material that will encourage plant root development.

Players Choice All Play TZ w DE should be put down to a depth of 3” – 6” on a standard infield renovation. Once placed, we recommend that you amend an Infield Conditioner into the top 2”- 4” of the playing surface. After applying the materials, we suggest watering your infield with ½ inch of water, rolling it with a 1000 pound roller to achieve proper compaction, and then laser grading it out at 1/2%.

Players Choice All Play TZ w DE uses the standard ES 5.5 Ballfield Mix which is amended with TZ w DE at a rate of 10% by volume for Little Leagues and Municipals, 15% for High Schools and Junior Colleges, and 20% for 4-Year Colleges and Professionals. This percentage can be adjusted to help specific issues or budgets.
